After the long flight from New Chitose International Airport via
Haneda International Airport of Japan, Frankfurt in Germany, Sao Paulo in Brazil, we at last arrived at Aeropuerto Internacional Silvio Pettirossi (Silvio Pettirossi International Airport) in
Asuncion.
It took approximately 39 hours including transit. It was a long long journey from our home island Hokkaido. Hokkaido delegation members were so tired and would like to jump in the buth tub. The President of Hokkaido Association in Paraguay Mr. Shirosawa and his father, former President and current Honorary President welcomed us all at the VIP lounge in the airport.
Honorary President Shirosawa still has enough power or connection with the top brasses of Paraguay society and the government. This is the room I stayed in Asuncion. It is not so big but 1 hed a good rest in this comfy room in Hotel Sheraton Asuncion.
