On the third day of 2025, we visited the Ball Park Escon Field in Kita Hiroshima adjacent to Sapporo. The stadium was built as the base of the professional baseball team Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters but even on the days of no game, it is open for the visitors to enjoy the delicious dishes of in-house restaurants and special events.
From the first day of 2024 to 5th, a temporary shrine was set on the playing field in the building. Without entrance fee, we could enter the stadium. Surprisingly, there were rows of lighting to raise the natural grass field.
The temporary shrine was set at around the home base in the diamond on the playing field. A queue of people could be seen from the second floor. The ceiling was closed on that day but it is open on fine off days to raise the natural grass in green season.
