At the break of dawn, the first train was ready to leave Hakodate Station . My wife loves to see the departure of the first train. I had to wake her up early in the morning for that on that day.
It was fine and the sunshine turned the bay area of Hakodate City orange . We took our time before our departure amply having breakfast, strolling around my jogging course in Motomachi and bay area.
The market area near the station has many nice eatery available even early in the morning. "Suzuya" was our choice on that day and we really enjoyed the top-quality seafood. As I didn't have to drive a car on that day, I drank pints of beer unusually.
