Hotel Nikko Niseko Style in the mood !

This is the room we stayed in Nikko Niseko Style, Niseko Hanazono. It was not so large but so comfortable and the smell of the newly built room made us so excited and trilled. The room was facing the skiing course and attractions of athletic facilities.

The design of the washing room was so simple and squeaky clean. No drawing nor photo on the wall. It may be tough for claustrophobia but anyway is very comfortable for us.  

We could see the adjacent Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono and the skiing course with lift from the window of the room we stayed. The reception house of the athletic attractions was just in front of our room.

We checked the gym in the hotel next.

 

The Special Lounge in Hotel Nikko Niseko Style !

This is the Lounge of Hotel Nikko Niseko Style facing the ski gelande of Hanazono Area, Niseko. The hotel opened just before the ski season last year 2024. Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono had already established its presence worldwide but there is much more space to build more accommodations nearby.

Hotel Nikko Niseko Style has a skiers' & snowboarders' entrance facing the ski lift and Hotel Park Hyatt other than the main entrance facing car parking lot like other ski resort hotels. The adjacent real estate was being prepared to build the ski village like the opposite side of the mountain.

The lounge of the hotel accommodates the limited guests who paid for that and the check-in for them should be done in the booth near the entrance of the lounge, different from other normal guests. Something special pleases the esteemed guests in any places.   

 

Hotel Nlkko Niseko Style !

This is the Lounge of Hotel Nikko Niseko Style that only the guests paid for that can enter and eat tempura, rice, cakes, ham, cheese, fruits with a variety of drinks. You can make yourself full with these culinary delights sourced locally. 

We might not have to ask the dinner on that day, considering the capacity of our stomach but we had to check up the quality and content of the dinner of the hotel because it was the first stay for us.

To be honest, I love the popcorn that seemed to have been made by the chef of the restaurant. The sweets were also so delicious and inspiring. We had already done our lunch before our arrival at the hotel but we savored amply the fabulous foods in the lounge.

 

The Cafe on the beach in Yoichi Town !

It was a pity that the restaurant "Black Wood Grill" in the resort  accommodation Miru in Niseko shedded "Wagyu Hamburger" on the menu. I had decided to have chicken burger to save the room in my stomach for dinner on that day but I found myself  searching for the former chef's signature hamburger on the menu . 

Before having lunch in Black Wood Grill, we dropped by so small a cafe on Ranshima Beach in Yoichi Town. It was cloudy on that day and I could see the rainfall

on the other side of the coast. We had recognized the existence of

the small cafe since several years ago but tried for the first time. 

Tempura Lunch in Tsunahachi !

Daimaru Department Store near my condo. has so nice and well-established tempura restaurant "Tsunahachi"on the eighth floor. The crisp and tasteful fried veggies, seafood and mushrooms are amazing and take you to the museum of art cuisine. 

We had recognized this small cafe every time when we had visited there "Ranshima Beach" in Yoichi. But we tried "The Wilderness Cafe"  for the first time on our way to Niseko on that day.  

A couple from abroad was enjoying the coffee and chat in the small cafe. One of them seemed to be writing something facing the window. one of them spoke fluent Japanese but their talk was in English. I remembered "Hotel Normandy" at the east end of Gaspe Peninsula in Canada. 

 

Cherry Blossoms, 2025 !

I really appreciate this annual godsend after getting over the cold monochrome winter as if it is

a reward of that. 

The beautiful pale pink color of the cherry blossoms without the green color of leaves ease the pain of the people and inspire everyone who have a look at them. 

I am eager to see and enjoy this beauty of a variety of cherry blossoms and reconsider the  mentality of Japanese that our people fostered and nurtured. That is what I had been dreaming on. Am I insane ?

 

Akabira City !

I've never tried this meal set in Akabira City during my mandate in Sorachi Sub-prefectural Area in Hokkaido. The Ramen Noodle soup topped with pork cutlet was served in a bowl which motif was helmet of coalmine workers.

Various kinds of toys and figures were displayed  at the corner of the diner with the photos of the movie film shooting and the protagonist's sign. 

As you imagined, the pork cutlet was not crisp but the taste was so nice and energetic. The former coalmine workers pigged out this Ramen Noodle soup .
