Why the people living in Sapporo City, including ourselves want to stay in Kutchan/Niseko mountainous area ? Even decades ago, some citizens of Sapporo purchased or built their second or third house at the foot of Mt. Yotei, Mt. Niseko Annupri, Mt. Chise-nupri and Mt. Iwao-nupri,
Even my father-in-law and mother-in-law once contemplated to do that when my wife was a little kid. If that had happened, we may have had that property sold to the realtor including foreign company.
Having properties in that area must be fine but throwing and taking away t heavy snow almost every day in winter must be so tough even for the young couples even if they use the snow-shooting machine., I think.
