The Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Toshihiro Kodama extended the award of appreciation from the Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Naomichi Suzuki for his efforts and cooperation to establish the Sister-state Affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii.
To be honest, Hokkaido and Hawaii had a tough time of miscommunication before establishing a Sister-state Affiliation because of the mishandling of the offer from the State of Hawaii by a certain Director of International Affairs in Hokkaido Government.
He was a terrible gay who lied around here and there even in the interaction with the counterpart in Hawaii. But Mr. Koitabashi and his friends devoted themselves to nurture the better relationship with huge potential between the regions.
