Squid started to get away!

You can not believe that the squid was still living and gazing at us who would eat them up in front of the creature. Watching his or her body sliced and laid out on the beautiful dish must be so cruel and made it so furious.   

Please look at its eyes that showed us its intestinal fortitude. I will never be able to keep such courage attitude. On top of that, it started to get away from the dish to somewhere. I felt some kinds of intelligence in its eyes.  

When I tried to pick up some slices of its body, it prevented me from picking up its body. I found myself praying for the soul for the squid. The eyes and legs of the squid would be sauteed with butter after this cruel ritual.

 

Jogging around Hakodate Motomachi in the evening!

A new building was near the old church and it seemed to be so cozy inside. "Dougenzaka" was also decorated with a variety colours of illumination. The trees were put the light bulbs and on their trunks and branches. 

It must be so tough for them. Fewer tourists were  strolling around the shining area, compared with before the pandemic of covid-19and its variants. 

It was so comfortable and stimulating for me to stroll around on the same trajectory in different time.No joggers could be found on that day but I found another customs in the evening. .

 

Hakodate Motomachi in the night! 2

The public house of Motonachi Area seemed shining on the hillside of Mt. Hakodate. It was like the King of the historical building in Hakodate. The street along the bay area was also decorated with the orange lights that made me imagine the era just after the facilities of the port was opened for the ships from overseas.

The scenery from the Motomachi Park attracts many people including the citizens and the tourists from the other parts on this globe.

The church seemed to be being refurbished and covered with the scaffold and plastic sheets. Basically, the building of the church should be refurbished with the donation from the believers of the religion but it must be cared by the municipality.

 

Hakodate Motomachi in the night!

After crawling up the slippery slope on the lower side of Motomachi Park, I looked back the bay area of Hakodate City and looked around the area to take some photos. The building of the former Public House and other facilities of the city were lit up under the moonlight.

The scenery from the park early in the morning was inspiring and energizing but in the evening, it made me imagine the dance party held in the house andthe participants to the party.

The historical buildings seemed to have been well-maintained and refurbished.The colour of the lightings were different from each other. I was wondering if the municipality of Hakodate had arranged some kinds of the events in the buildings.

 

Kanamori Warehouses in Hakodate!

The scenery of the bay area of Hakodate was totally different from that in the morning. The warehouses built with red bricks showed us the nice colour reflection of the lighting up. 

The harbor area was connected with the high-end residential area Motomachi by some slopes. I jog around the area early in the morning usua;;y but the view of the city from the hillside of Mt. Hakodate in the evening gave me a special impression for the first time.

Before that, crawling up the slope of Motomachi Area of Hakodate required me a little bit driving force tsuch as  imaging the delivious dinner of culinary delights sourced locall and pints of beer.

Hakodate Bay in the night!

It was not so cold on that day and jogging around the bay was so comfortable. As I had to wakeup and leave Hakodate early in the morning, I did an irregular jogging in the evening. 

 

Night jogging was good for a deep sleep and enhancing digest. The scenery that I had got used to was a little bit different in the evening.

The view of the bay area is popular to the tourists but I found very few on that day. Only one night tour was conducted near the hotel we stayed.

 

Night Strolling in Hakodate!

As I made a reservation of the room in our most favorite Japanese bistro "Izakaya Hakodate-yama" at eight o'clock in the evening on that day, I jogged around the bay area of Hakodate at the foot of Mt. Hakodate. 

The memorial ship "Mashuumaru" was lit up but nobody could be found other than myself. 

 

The bridge of the ship could not be seen from the gate of the park. Different from the morning jogging, it was a little bit dangerous to get closer to the ship because the gap on the ground might be covered with snow.

Older people than me may have the memory of using the ship to reach the main island of Japan Honshu and the name of "Seikan Renrakusen" must have a kind of special tone with their memory in adolescence or something special, I think.
