It's a kind of art !

The works of art made by the waves and winds seemed to indicate how they had been carved for thousands of years.

 It seemed to be a good place for day-camping and BBQ but I've never seen such a scene during my mandate in the town two decades ago.

I went up to the field on the upper side of the island. A local guy was sit back on the turf and savoring the landscape.

Can it be a stage for some kinds of atraction ?

If it could be possible to arrange a dramatic performance on this beach with a various colors of lighting, that would be so nice  and attract so many people and and souls.

Battle scene and dancing scene may be fitting to the stage to a T, I think. Pirates or bandits can be the protagonists on the stage.

Needless to say, guns are not appropriate to the scene. Body-to-body, sword-to-sword battle may be the best for this rock field, I think. What do you think about it ?

Walking around on the island !

An angler seemed to be fighting against a big fish, so I did not get closer to him any more. I crossed my fingers and toes for his win.

I think you can see the lines of layers on the rock. Depending on the hardness  and the position of the rock, a variety of shapes were made up like these photos.

These photos were taken last May but it was warm  enough for me to explore in the ocean. I got back to my car to pick up my diving gear.

What the winds and waves made up !

As I might have posted before, it might be the first time for me to get down to this beach of this island albeit I had lived in the Town Esashi for three years and half.

 I enjoyed this trip after dropping off my wife at the venue of the annual Japanese traditional tea ceremony held in Hakodate City.

During my wife enjoying the tea ceremony and chatting with other participants, I really enjoyed a small exploring in the town I had lived before.

What a wide beach of rock !

I've never seen families enjoying day-camp on this rock beach but I think for scuba divers, this place is so nice to set the base for diving.

I am planning to swim around Hokkaido island along the coastline after my retire the current job. Do you think that the movie film shot under the water can be sold ?

The title will be "Great dive around my home island Hokkaido", I think.  I have to do something for the blessed island that gave me a lot in my life and family members.

What is the object ?

Above is the broken concrete dome on the rock field. What was on these concrete bases?
If a special restaurant or beach cottage had been on them, it was so interesting.

 So many mussels and balanomorphas
could be seen through the salt water. When human beings see the ocean from above, they may feel kind of fear.

But once you dive into the ocean and see them from the same level, you will be so intrigued by the way they live, I think.

Strong winds from northwest made them !

Can you see the western coastline of Oshima Peninsula facing the continent. Seasonal winds from northwest made up so attractive coastline and rocks.

Carved by the waves from northwest for thousands of years, this kind of attractive works were made up. The ocean was so calm on that day but in winter, harsh attack of winds and waves wash up the island.

I got down to the rock field on the island. These are the curious objects on the field. What do you think about them ?
