Ramen Noodle Soup Bar Shinatora in Furano !

I made a business jaunt to Asahikawa by train and to Furano by car to check up the abandoned mine of asbestos that had been used as one of the fire-proof building materials but was banned to be used because it caused mesothelioma.     

Before the site visit, I had black ramen noodle soup called "Kogashi shio" which means "burnt salt" in local ramen bar "Shinatora" .

From the popular camping site in Furano City on the mild hillside, the abandoned but controlled mine could be seen clearly but the appearance might as well be covered with mud and plants in appropriate manner.
