I took time off on that day and had lunch with my wife in Anchor Grill Sapporo of The Gate Hotel Sapporo by Hulic. Some guests staying in the hotel could be seen on the same floor. They seemed to be from overseas.
The lunch in the restaurant satisfied us so much with its hot sandwich and pasta as well as salad bar filled up with organic vegetables and special sauce. The cod roe spaghetti with cream sauce illustrated high degrees of skill earned by the chef.
My wife seemed to be so delighted with the dessert made up with fruits and jelly that refresh her palate as well as the scenery of the construction in front of the train station. Two new platform of the subway was constructed underground and we could see that from the hotel.
