Just after the Illusion !

The performance of fireworks and fire-knife-like flame dance were conducted  in the courtyard of Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono Hanazono but I wonder if we would be able to see the scenery again this year or  not.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

We really enjoy the night of optical  artworks and fire performance on the hillside. We left the Hanzono Area of Kutchan City and went back to our favorite Hotel Setsu Niseko in Hirafu Area. 

We are wondering if we should stay in Ritz Carlton or Park Hyatt in Kutchan and Niseko Area next time. We've never stayed in Ritz Carlton Niseko before but Park Hyatt has the performance of light and fire.

 

The Concept of Jelly Fish !

Originally, the illuminations made of optical fiber were set near the ground only but this year,additional illuminations were set in the higher zone on the hillside of Mt. Niseko Annupri and created the world like in the depth of the ocean. 

They were as if showing the way to the world after death. The surreal world on the hillside seemed to be inviting us to the world of dream.

The illuminations will continue to make the audience in the area so happy and satisfied until October.  If you have any chance to visit there, please dive into the world of imagination.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

 

In The Mood of Milky Way !

The room lights of the guestrooms of Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko played the role of light performance in the darkness.The blue and purple light of the optical fiber attracted so many visitors on that day. 

Setting up the optical fiber of the illumination must cost a small fortune but they are worthwhile and the returns are much more than that.

The courtyard of Hotel Setsu Niseko also had the art of lighting but the colors of the plants played a crucial roles and created a harmony of the artificial lights and natural reflections.   

 

What Made the Optical Arts Different !

What do you imagine with such illumination like light-emitting jelly fish in the air? The courtyard of Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono showed us its evolution in 2024. 

I felt as if I was in the dpth of the ocean and watching the mysterious creatures on the seabed. The optical fibers were swinging in the air and on the ground.

I got to know that it costs 3,500 Japanese Yen per person to join the event on that day. Is it expensive or cheap for you? Please try and enjoy that !

 

Optical Fibers Created the World !

The illuminations with a variety of colors on the ground were like the souls of human beings drifting on the air. Before Japanese Obon which is the Buddhist event when the souls of ancestors come back to this living world, we envision the scene they come back. 

Adding to the original pale yellow illumination., blue, red and purple illuminations played up the mainstream of the lights. They made the world like a dream.  

To be honest, the wiring on the ground might draw us back to the real world from the imagination but the purple colored wiring made me imagine the system of neuron in our brain.  

 

Fire Knife in Niseko Hanazono ?

The fire performance like the fire-knife of Polynesian island conducted by the indigenous people of Hokkaido Ainu started so solemnly in the courtyard of Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono.

The ski lifts with the light shaped like a character of U were moving on over the river of the illumination on the hillside of Mt. Niseko Annupri. The hillside was much darker than the sky and made a good backdrop to play up the illumination.

Different from the previous illuminations last year, they have a variety of colors in the darkness of of the ground.The characters of U emitting light were so surreal in silence.

 

The Moon Shining Over the Optical Arts !

The moon was shining over the dark hillside of Mt. Niseko Annupri that was decorated with subtle illumination like light-emitting jelly fish. They were made of optical fiber. So many tourists and the citizens of Kutchan Town and Niseko Town swamp the courtyard of Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono. 

The illumination was like a river or Milky Way that appeared before the real one. They were like little fire works on the ground. Soon after they were lit, the real huge fire works in the sky entertained the audience.

The guests in the hotel Park Hyatt could see the illumination and the fire performance from their room with their backs and legs stretched. A short program of flame started so nicely under the shining moon on that day.
