JICA Trainees from Mali 2 !

The traditional chest decoration of Mali Republic should be worn on their traditional attire. The Vice Minister of the Regional Affairs handed the souvenirs to Vice Governor Shunsuke Tsuchiya. The drawings of the capital city was also given to Hokkaido Government. 

It must be so cold for the trainees from Mali Republic but they also have the cold places in their country, such as the highland on the hillside of tall mountains. Their official language was French. Some of them had a good command in English. I hope they learned a lot in Hokkaido and enjoyed their stay.

I do not think that the possibility to establish a sister-state affiliation between Hokkaido and any of the state in Mali but for the resource security, we may have to arrange a mutual cooperation with Mali and other states in Africa.

The trainees from Mali Republic visited Hokkaido Prefectural Government to learn the planning system of regional development. Their country was exploited and cheated by some developed countries. They had to learn a lot from other independent countries not to be exploited.

They paid a courtesy call on the Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Shunsuke Tsuchiya. Japanese youths are also exploited by other developed countries and affluent people and private companies but the current situation should be changed.  

The delegation from Mali Republic handed their traditional decoration to the vice Governor Tsuchiya. The delegation members looked so tough and had distinguished physical potential. They have to be convinced of the necessity to be independent in the real meaning. So do Japanese people.

 

Memorial Service for the deceased Japanese soldiers !

I heard that the offspring of the deceased soldiers who died on Peleliu Island would visit the island again in coming April, 2023. The President of the Republic of Palau changed. I liked the former President Mr. Tommy Remengesau and his able staff Kesolei but they are not in the office in Marukyoku.     

I may have to visit the island again to attend the memorial ceremony for the deceased in World War Ⅱ. The ceremony will be held on April 9. The regional election will be held on the day, so the members of the Hokkaido Legislative Assembly will not be able to visit there.

Just before the shuffle of the staffers in Hokkaido Government, one of the Vice Governors will be requested to attend the delegation but actually it will be a tough call. I will just wait the order.  

 

Suwa Shrine in Sapporo in autumn, 2022!

We worshiped Suwa Shrine in Sapporo on a certain Sunday before winter. The water place to wash hands was filled up with beautiful flowers and umbrellas. The water place was guarded by a dragon.The flowers were waiting for us in the cold water. Red roses were like a flame from the mouth of the dragon in the white chrysanthemums.    
 

5,000 Japanese Yen !

Broccoli and spinach were sauteed well with sliced garlic and some kind of broth, I thought. Anyway, they were so nice for health and tasteful. We had to make the most of the capacity of our stomach. 

The spicy Tan Tan Mien was topped with crash peanuts, sauteed minced pork and chopped leek. The sesame paste and the tan tan mien giang showed the high degrees of skill accumulated in the chef's experience. 

Mango pudding and almond jelly wrapped up the Chinese bufet lunch on that day. We were almost full but could savor the taste amply. The chefs and Maitre'Ds would be able to show their top-grade skills and hospitality in the coming high season of white tourism in Niseko.  
 

Fabulous Dim Sum in China Kitchen, Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono !

The lunch in China Kitchen of Park Hyatt may be a kind of entertainment with the kitchen centered in the restaurant.The steamed prawn dumpling was the starter of the day. 

Kantonese spare rib is one of our favorites since our stay in Canada.

The dough for the Chinese dumpling was comparatively thick in the restaurant. The chefs and the maitre'Ds seemed to enjoy playing their own role and as actors and actress performing in the kitchen.

 

Chinese steamed dumplings with the meat of haired crab inside was topped with salmon roe after steamed. Authentic sour-flavored fried pork and veggies was the protagonist on the table on that day.  

 

China Kitchen in Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono again !

Chinese spareribs, sauteed cucumber, cold mini tomato salad and other variety of Chinese dumplings fulfilled our stomach and souls so much in China Kitchen of Park Hyatt Hanazono Niseko.

The performance by the chefs at the center kitchen of the restaurant and the cuisine entertained us and made us so happy. Wewere so energized and refreshed as well. It was so beautiful day!
