At the peak of Mt.Bieidake !

I also stood on the highest point of Mt. Bieidake with my wife. We've already finished lunch on that day but we nibbled some rice-balls and sandwiches on the peak.

My wife was having a rest at the the sign of the peak. I was concerned that too long rest cooled down the muscle of our thighs too much.

At the peak of Mt. Bieidake !

Somebody wearing blue windbreaker was sitting on the lava rock. He looked so tired and did not move at all in the fog.

We stepped forward between the lava rocks colored black in the fog.We could not get the perspective of the area.

But we recognized we at last reached the peak of Mt. Bieidake. If we had had a clear view there, my wife could not have reached there. Anyway, we got the satisfaction to reach and conquer the peak of another mountain. She did it !

It appeared from the fog !

A pole appeared 100 meters ahead of us. Yes, it was the sign of the peak of the mountain.

 At last, we reached the peak of Mt. Bieidake. My wife looked so weary but we had to get down to the entrance of the trail at much lower level.

 My wife appeared from the fog. I told her that we reached the peak. She responded with her grasping.

In the fog 2 !

The fog like milk went up the hillside of Mt. Bieidake as if it wanted to hide the peak of Mt. Bieidake.

I don't think that it prevented us from reaching the peak but anyway, eyesight was not clear at that time.

My wife stopped talking and the shade of tiredness covered her face. Yes, she looked weary after walking for hours. It would take only a little bit more to reach the peak on the map.

Going around the rim of Crater !

We could not see the center of the crater at all but it might be good for my wife because the height and the ragged inside of the crater might have scared my wife if they could be seen clearly.

The lava rocks were so ragged and sometimes had some sharp edge on its surface. We should put on gloves.

Steadily, we were getting closer to the peak of Mt. Bieidake but we could not recognize where we were at that moment.

Don't dive into the crater !

My wife and I walked on the rim of the crater of Mt. Bieidake. The center of the crater was hidden by the fog drafting around the peak.

We were stepping forward to the higher point of the rim. Sometimes we could hear somebody talking behind the fog.

Other trekkers might be getting closer to us but we could not see anybody near the area.

Last 100 Meters !

The spearheading horn-like rock appeared on the edge of the crater. It was a work made by the eruption of Mt. Tokachidake.

 Sticky lava that included much silicon made up the art. The peak of Mt. Bieidake was getting closer to us.

The outside of the crater was not-so-steep slope but once you tumbled on the hillside, it might be hard to stop tumbling down.
