Some people may feel kind of nostalgia to see such wooden corridor. This building had been used as a grade school in the suburbs of Bibai City and later, it became the Museum of Art featuring the famous sculptor Mr. Kan Yasuda who was born and raised in the city.
The ground floor ha been used as a kindergarten which had been so popular and famous with its gifted environment, art works and nature even though it was a little bit away from the downtown and main residential area of the city.
On the second floor, many photos of the art works created by Mr. Kan Yasuda and laid all over the world were displayed on the walls. His biography and activities were described in the very calm and sacred, in a sense, atmosphere.
